Chocolate Fig Smoothie Recipe

It’s September, but smoothie season isn’t over just yet. Grab some figs before they go out of season and whip up this filling smoothie for breakfast, snack or dessert.

My recommendation would be to add 1 scoop of plant-based vanilla/chocolate/plain protein powder or 1/4 cup of oats if you are drinking this as a meal.

Healthy Fig Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 3 ripe figs
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 Tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon


  1. Get all of your ingredients out and de-stem your figs.
  2. Put everything in your bender and blend until smooth. Add protein powder, collagen or other supplements to boost the nutrition factor.
